For Don and Samantha Anderson and crew, the second half of winter in Michigan is a time of healing and growth in their new community. With that comes personality conflicts and change.

The Andersons’ group isn’t the only thing growing in size and strength in the area. The dog pack is, too, and all of these humans are right in the middle of their claimed territory. As their search for food begins to overlap, the frequency of encounters increases, and something has to give.

New relationships and different kinds of battles are added to both sides' daily struggle for survival. Mankind vs nature AND mankind vs itself ratchets up the tension to explosive levels!
